Imbolc

Yesterday was ground hog’s day, overwise known as imbolc, Saint Brigid’s Day and Candelmas. This is the seasonal change where the first signs of spring are noted. The sprouting of leaves and flowers. It marks the half way time between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. Also celebrated as the feast of purification of the virgin.

A time to breathe freshness and leave old unneeded patterns behind. Spring is creeping closer and its smell is in the air; the bees are being busy bodies collecting and sharing its sweetness with us.
